1- We ship Monday to Friday, excluding Victorian and Federal holidays.

2- Our shipping cut off time is 12:00pm Melbourne time (UTC+10). This means if an order is paid for by 12:00pm, we will post it the same business day. Any orders paid after that will be posted the next business day.

3- Orders that have add-on services such as customization, sharpening, etc fall outside of our same or next business day shipping policy. The shipping time frame for those orders are advised by Lion Knives at the time of order.

4- Customers must ensure they enter correct address at the checkout. We will not alter or modify your delivery address after the order is placed. Any delivery issues such as returned parcels, delays or wrong deliveries that occur due to incorrect address will be the buyers'responsibility.





1- We use Australia Post Express shipping for all of our domestic orders, except for small articles that could be posted in a mail sized envelope. For these items we use regular registered post with tracking number. Tracking number will be provided to buyers after shipping. We may at our sole discretion add signature on delivery and/or insurance to an order.

2- We use express shipping so that customers can take full advantage of Australia Post's next business day delivery guarantee.



1- We only post to selected international destinations. If the buyer's address is in the regions where we do not ship to, we will cancel the order and return any payments made by buyer. 

2- International shipping is processed by Australia Post. Australia Post may deliver international parcels to the destination address by using one of their international partner postal carriers. Lion Knives is not able to select a particular carrier or method of delivery at the destination country.

3- Any taxes, custom duties or other fees imposed by the destination country's officials and government bodies is the responsibility of the buyer. Lion Knives accepts no responsibility for those charges.

4- The buyer is solely responsible for knowing their country's import laws, weapons laws or any other laws and regulations in relation to the product they order. Any loss or forfeiture of the item by the government or postal authorities of the destination country is the responsibility of the buyer. Lion Knives accepts no responsibility for seized items in those cases.

5- Under no circumstances Lion Knives will under value items or alter any description or other particulars in relation to an item on the custom declaration forms. 

6- We reserve the right to reject shipping an order to an international destination and cancel the order if we deem the delivery of the item may be unsuitable, illegal or problematic in any other way. In such cases we will refund all payments in full and will inform you of the cancellation of the order.


1- Pre-order dispatch times are estimates. The actual dispatch times may vary slightly. We do our best to dispatch the pre-orders by or sooner than the quoted estimated times. However, variations could occur due to reasons outside our control such as delays by shipping companies, customs or manufacturer & distributors. In these instances we will inform you immediately via email and update you.

2- Once you place a pre-order with us, we will place an order for your item with the brand distributor/manufacturer. Therefore, cancellations or returns are not accepted on pre-orders. The only exceptions are in case of a faulty items, incorrect products or unreasonably long delays. 

3- In rare cases when a product has become discontinued or unavailable by the brand manufacturer/distributor and that product cannot be sourced any longer, we will inform you via email and will give you the option to replace or cancel your pre-order for full refund.


 1- We accept returns if you feel the item you purchased is not right for you. The buyer must contact us within 7 days of item's delivery to obtain return authorisation. Any item returned to us without authorisation will be posted back to buyer at their cost.

2- Items must be returned brand new, in original, unused, factory condition with original box and content. If you use, try out, carry or change the product or the box in any way, your return will not be accepted and the item will be sent back to you at your cost.

3- Buyers are responsible for the return postage. We do not cover the return postage fee for any items unless we have sent you the wrong product. In such case, we will cover the cost of return postage. Please use a reliable shipping method to return your items. We strongly recommend that you insure the package. If we don't receive the product there is no way we could process the return.

4- A 10% restocking fee will apply to all returns and exchanges, unless we have sent you the wrong product.

In reality, we almost never charge a restocking fee for our legitimate customers but numerous unfair and dishonest claims have forced us to include this policy. Returns cost us in labour, transaction fees, shipping fees, etc The restocking fee is used to recover those costs. 

5- Refunds will be issued in the same way we have received your payment. Please allow a few business day for your financial institute to process the transaction. 

6- We inspect every single item thoroughly before posting to customers to make sure no faulty products leaves our premises. This includes checking the physical appearance as well as the workmanship of the item carefully. If we find any imperfections, we will not post that product to a customer under any circumstances, even if that is our last remaining product in stock. We will instead contact you to offer an alternative such as full refund or another product of the same or higher value. We keep audiovisual records of every inspection as proof of the products quality at the time of shipping. We do not process warranty claims on behalf of manufacturers. However, we will assist you to the best of our ability to resolve the issue. 

7- Customized, used or otherwise modified products are excluded from this return policy. There is no refund for products that are customized, modified, used or otherwise altered by customer's request.

8- International orders are excluded from our return policy. We do not accept returns for international orders unless we have sent you the wrong product. 

9- This return policy does not apply to pre-orders. For return policy on pre-orders please refer to the "Pre-Orders" section above.


1- By placing an order, the buyer verifies that they are 18 years old or over and accepts Lion Knives' Terms & Conditions. Any person under the age of 18 must not participate in the commercial aspects of this website unless supervised by a parents or guardian.

2- The buyer is solely responsible for knowing their local, state and federal laws in relation to purchase, carry, possession and importation of the item they are ordering. Lion Knives shall not be held liable for any infringement of the law by the purchaser. Lion Knives does not provide legal advice or suggestions in relation to local, state and federal laws to anyone. Lion Knives encourages the lawful and responsible use and possession of any cutlery items by the purchaser. Knives could be dangerous if handled improperly and should not be presented to minors without direct supervision of a parent or guardian.
