Rike 1902 Damasteel Blade Folding Knife Red Shred carbon Fiber & Titanium Handle
A Fantastic Full Dress Folder With Exotic Materials
Rike Knives is one of the large Chinese manufacturers, along Reate and WE Knife. They have an enormous line up of interesting models in their arsenal and have proven their capability in design and execution. The Rike 1902 Damasteel model is a showcase of what they can do in terms of fit & finish. The 1902 Damasteel is the full dress version of their standard 1902.
The handle is made of titanium. It's fully contoured and bronze anodized and features two exquisite red shred carbon fiber inlays on the front side. All the titanium hardware are gold anodized and the pivot is dressed with a blue collar on both sides, matching the blue backspacer and pocket clip. The clip benefits from ceramic bearing tip, a signature design of Todd Begg.
The star of the show is the gorgeous Damasteel blade, polished and etched to magnify its mesmerizing pattern. Damasteel is the powder metallurgy version of damascus steel, it's also the name of the company making these exotic knife steel. The deployment and closing action is super smooth and crisp, partly due to the high polished blade, as well as the bearing pivot system.
The combination of exotic materials, vivid colours and fantastic build quality makes the Rike 1902 Damasteel a must have for any collection at a very reasonable cost.
