The limited edition Starboy is another exceptional collaboration between the French designer Tashi Bharucha and Reate Knives. Starboy is very much the smaller version of "The Future" by Tashi & Reate.
This knife is a prime example of perfect design and execution. The small and ergonomic form factor makes the Starboy a great EDC folder. And of course the very unique blade profile that is Tashi's signature gives you more blade that you bargained for in such a small knife. 
 
The blade is made of Damasteel, another exotic and super attractive steel often used in high end custom knives. Damasteel is the modern form of Damascus, but stainless steel. The powder metallurgy process of making Damasteel is trademarked and patented by Damasteel (also the company name) in Sweden. The blade is polished and acid etched to bring out the wild texture and is complimented by crowned (rounded) blade spine, something very rarely seen in production knives. Tashi's placement and design of the flipper tab makes the deployment effortless and efficient, every time.
