He makes very few knives a year in his spare time; hence they are hard to come by and sought after among Australian collectors.


This gorgeous Framelock Flipper model features a Timascus bolster on the front side with rich, vivid colours. The marble carbon fibre scale compliments the bolsters and gives the knife a dressy and premium appearance. The lock side features a titanium frame, furnished with a beautiful Timascus clip, matching the bolster. The S35VN blade is truly stunning, featuring a wonderful chisel ground tanto point and hand sharpened, semi-polished cutting edge. The fine stonewash finish is very consistent and elegant. 


Nate's attention to details is evident throughout the knife. For example he lock release is nicely scalloped, black hardware are used for the carbon fiber scale fitting, the clip is recessed to house the clip screws and the lock relief is cut internally. All of these are hallmarks of a more experienced full time maker that commends much higher prices. Nate's blade Co offers the same level of craftsmanship in a full custom knife, with premium materials at a production knife price range. Most importantly, he is one of very few Australian knife makers that make a folding knife.
