Kizer Toro Flipper Knife Titanium Handle S35VN Blade Matt Diskin Design

Kizer Toro Flipper Knife Titanium Handle S35VN Blade Matt Diskin Design

SKU: VM-6848

The Kizer Toro is an interesting knives in more than one way. It's design by Matt Diskin, a former robotic designer with over 20 years of experience in designing mechanical parts. Matt has brought his decades of experience into his knife designs. Perhaps the most interesting feature of the Toro is its double detent system. Unlike other knives that have 1 detent ball on the frame lock, the Toro is fitted with a 2nd detent ball on the opposite side of the frame. The secondary detent adds slightly more resistance to create a sharper deployment but it also prevents the blade from free-falling. This two-handed closing safety feature requires you to overcome the detent in order to close the blade.

The titanium handle is carved with deep horizontal ridges that improve the grip as well as aesthetics. The handle is ergonomic and comfortable to hold in different grip positions. The blade is made of S35VN blade in drop point shape and is stonewashed.
