The Emerson SPECWAR is one of Ernest Emerson's favorite knives -- a simple, raw, powerful design he compares to his '67 Camaro: "Elegant aggression." The SPECWAR traces back to a time when Emerson was building knives almost exclusively for the U.S. Navy SEAL Teams, and despite years of tweaks and refinements, the original design has stood the test of time 
 
The Specwar is a vintage Emerson folding knife that dates back to 2000. It is outfitted with a black coated 154-CM blade and coyote brown G-10 handle scales. The Specwar is known for its slim ergonomic handle design, offering curved lines and a comfortable grip. This Specwar model has a partially serrated tanto blade with a thumb disc opener. These knives are getting hard to come by and will make a great addition to any knife collection.
