The Sukhoi 2.0 Turned a lot of heads when it was released by Custom Knife Factory in 2015 and got CKF a lot of praise within the knife community. The Sukhoi takes its name from the advanced Russian fighter jets. The knife design somewhat resembles the side profile of the majestic Sukhoi fighter.
The handle is a beautiful sculpture of titanium and carbon fibre. The CF scales sit on top of the titanium frame, revealing the intricately grooved titanium handle beneath. Thanks to the genius of the design, you may thing the CKF Sukhoi 2.0 is a linerlock at first glance. This is because the titanium framelock is positioned exactly under the CF scales on the lock side, creating a symmetrical design on both sides. The back of the handle tapers slightly to reveal the blue titanium backspacer, matching the colour of the pivot, pocket clip and thumb stud.
 
The slim blade made of S35VN steel features a delightful hand rubbed satin finish. It’s a simple and clean blade that feels & carries smaller than it really is. The action is smooth, both on opening and closing thanks to great detent adjustment and ball bearing washers.
 
Being a 5 years old model, this CKF Sukhoi 2.0 in mint condition is a fantastic addition to any knife collection. Not to mention, this 5 years old designs outshines most new production knives in terms of design, precision and fit & finish.
