The knife is packed with superb features that you wouldn't believe could be offered on a production knife and at this price point. The Venom Harpoon is a large tactical knife finished and fitted better than a custom dress watch. Starting with a custom made titanium pivot with a first seen tool free opening. The pivot itself is a work of art, made of several parts and multiple surface finishes. You can open, adjust and close the pivot with nothing but your finger nail. 

The handle is made of fully machined and beautifully finished titanium frame, dressed with a superb marbled carbon fiber scales. The carbon fiber is very high quality with a busy & contrasting pattern. Venom Knives have gone over the limit to fit the front scale with a triangular titanium hardware collar!
 
The "piece de resistance" for us is the fully polished luxurious Zirconium backspacer that has a lanyard extension as well. It's hard to believe that a Zirconium backspacer is included at this price, on a production knife, hence we are over the moon with it.
 
The party is not over yet, there is even more. The Venom Harpoon is equipped with a retractable pocket clip. The clip is spring loaded and sits nearly flush to the handle. Pressing the end of the clip will raise it from the surface to allow it being used like a normal clip. The huge benefit is that there's no pocket clip to get in the way or create hot-spot when the knife is in use.
 
If you thought that was already a lot, you're wrong. The flipper tab is also removable. The flipper is fixed to the blade with screws and can be removed if you prefer a blade hole deployment. It also makes it possible to take the knife to certain countries that have restriction against flipper opening knives.
 
The blade is made of Bohler M390, one of the best (if not the best) knife steels in the market. It offers unparalleled edge retention and could be sharpened to a very fine edge. It also takes a true mirror polish and has great corrosion resistance as well. Needless to say that the deployment action is rapid, snappy and sharp and the closing is drop shut, silky smooth.
