The Rockstead RYO-H is one of the newest additions to Rockstead arsenal. It is also one that benefits from many modern technologies, especially for a traditional Japanese company like Rockstead. The RYO features a "Concealed Clip System" which is essentially a retractable clip that you can deploy when you need and tuck away when you don't for maximum comfort in hand or in the pocket.
 
The Ryo also features a full titanium frame which adds strength to the handle compared to aluminium while not increasing the weight by much. Rockstead has chosen a button lock mechanism for the RYO. This helps maintaining a uniform look on both side as well as preserving the integrity of the handle as there is no lockbar cut-outs on the handle. The handle is beautifully scalloped in typical Rockstead fashion and is anodized in deep blue.
 
Rockstead knives are best known for their blades; They have mastered three crucial aspects of making a high quality blade that barely any other production knife company has achieved. Exceptional sharpness, High Hardness levels resulting in unmatched edge retention and impeccable mirror finished blades. Rockstead tests the hardness of every blade individually and writes it on the certificate paper. They also provide free sharpening and cleaning service for all of their knives.
