The Halictus is one of our favourite models from Maxace. For all the top shelf materials and outstanding fit & finish this knife offers, the price is a bargain. The titanium handle is beautifully anodized in rich blue with one of the most consistent finishes you will see on a knife. The carved carbon fibre inlays are meticulously fitted into the handle and the overall feel & comfort of the handle surpasses knife twice as expensive.
 
The Halictus has an incredible action. The blade deploys lightning fast and locks up with a sharp clunk. The closing is drop shut smooth as well. The blade is made of Bohler M390 with a nice harpoon and is finished in stonewash.
