As the name suggests, the Maxace Goliath is not a small knife. This beastly folder stretches out to 24.5 cm long with enough room in the handle for the largest of the hands and then some!  The full titanium frame is rock solid while keeping the weight down at the same time. Internally milled pocket help reduce the weight down to a reasonable 220 grams for this size. The handle is furnished with black G10 scales and gold anodized pivot collar. 
 
The Goliath comes with a blade worthy of its name, made from K110 tool steel, which is Bohler's equivalent to D2 steel. It is a very tough and hard wearing steel that holds its edge for a long time. The blade is acid washed to perfectly match the grey titanium bolsters.
 
The action of the Goliath is outstanding. The blade flips rapidly and with authority. The closing action is also effortless. The titanium linerlock mechanism offers a well balanced tension and solid lock up.
