This Benchmade Griptilian 551-191 Gold Class 2019 limited edition is a special version of the world famous Griptilian. Each year Benchmade selects a product and replaces all of it with top-quality materials. The Gold Class is for Benchmade a way of showing what they are capable of. These knives are made by Benchmade's most skilled craftsmen. This special Gold Class Griptilian is one of the coolest of the Gold Class to date.
 
For this Gold Class Griptilian, Benchmade used Damasteel for the blade enhanced with an organic Fjäril pattern. You can open the blade with the blue anodized thumb rest. Once opened, the blade is held securely in place by the well-known Axis lock, which is finished with a DLC coating. In addition to the thumb rest, Benchmade has added the number of this limited edition. The knife is enhanced with a grey G10 handle with blue liners that offers a lot of grip. The standoffs, like the thumb stud, are enhanced with a blue anodized finish. In short, a breath-taking combination of top-quality materials. Without a doubt one of the most beautiful Griptilians ever produced!
